CATALOGUE STARTING POINTS
Tape families
to explore.
These are catalogue examples for discussion. Product selection, specifications and suitability are confirmed with ETI for your application.
Aluminium Foil Tape
Bring seam and patching requirements into one clear HVAC enquiry. ETI lists aluminium foil tape for ducting and related insulation work. The facing, adhesive and joint conditions need to suit the surface being sealed; specify any required performance documentation rather than assuming a rating from the metallic appearance.
FSK Foil Tape
Match the tape to the insulation facing. FSK refers to foil, scrim and kraft, a construction used around insulation systems and their joints. ETI can review the facing already installed, the seam layout and the service environment so the proposed tape supports the detail being assembled.
Nitrile Foam Tape
Nitrile foam tape appears in ETI’s catalogue for insulation, sealing and cushioning applications around equipment and services. Tell the team whether the strip sits on a panel, pipe or enclosure, and what the surrounding environment is like. Material selection and fit should be checked against the actual installation.
